Clear
Acrylic Cabochons
Light
weight when compared to glass, acrylic cabochons (cabs) are
solid, transparent, polished and void-free. They are flat on one side and convex on the other, with no foil
backing. These are a quality professional
grade, injection molded* with a plastic equivalent
to Lucite and Plexiglass. |
|
Clear cabochons are also used for acrylic displays, custom
acrylic work, and jewelry making. The convex dome causes whatever you place underneath to be magnified, such as artwork or photos mounted with clear glue.
Great for craft projects like custom buttons, fridge magnets, and broaches. Whether its reverse painting on clear cabochons, or mounting decoupage of a photo or image onto the shape, its fun creativity for both kids and adults.
See Clear cabochons at the estore.
*Injection molding means that each cab has an injection gate mark on it's edge. We try to keep the gate mark as small as possible
but larger cabochons will have a larger mark than smaller ones.
Cabochons are high quality but may not be 100% flawless.
Slight blemishes or other imperfections may sometimes be visible. This is difficult to quantify since every user will have a different degree of scrutiny. The purchaser is responsibe for determining the suitability for use.
